WHY BECOME A MEMBER

Becoming a member of ASPHI for an organization/Business is not just a cost, there are also advantages!

  • First of all there is the impact of showing a positive image for your organization especially as it's increasingly important for all organizations to fulfill their social role as part of the community.;

  • The opportunity to spread the its message is very important, and comparing different initiatives and data from ASPHI, we can affirm that initiatives regarding disability interest about 15% of the italian population.

  • The opportunity of a priviledged stand from which talk to people with disabilities. The gradual increase in independence on their behalf shows that increasingly this part of the population will represent an interesting target for products and services on behalf of organizations and businesses.

Moreover, since 1998, ASPHI qualifies for ONLUS Status (Non-for-profit organization) This enhances the advantadges gained by becoming an associate from a tax point of view.

  • for businesses free donations of money superior to approximately 2000 Euros, or 2% of earnings, constitute expenses that can be deducted from tax purposes. ;

  • expenses relative to the employment of new staff can be deducted for tax purposes withing the limit of five to a thousand of the total amount of those expeneses.

  • For individuals and non-for-profit organizations the free donations of money can be deducted for IRPEF tax purposes for an amount equal to approximately two thousand euros in the measure of 19%;

  • There also benefits concerning taxes: exeptions from tax on earnings derived from 'institutional operations' facilitations for paying the IVA tax, as well as government help, donations, and so on.

There are also some considerations that interest every business in deciding how to contribute to activities of no-profit organizations and especially according to those guiding principles from ASPHI that are: competence, trust and correctness.

  • Competence it's intended as the use of human resources that are qualified and professionally ready for the execution and control of activities: even for a non-profit organization. The approach is of a professional kind rather of the 'voluntary' kind and this is what makes ASPHI a unique organization, especially in Italy, especially regarding disability.

  • Trust in respect of contributors and those to whom activities are directed, for whom the achievement of results is guaranteed within the anticipated expenses margin and time.

  • Correctness, meaning the maintenance of transparent and verifiable relationships with customers, with suppliers and within your organization.
