Guidelines
for integrating people with disabilities into the workplace
PAGE
INDEX
A
disabled person can become a resource
This is how one can change
the role of a person with disabilities within the company.
Real integration is possible where both employers and employee
can gain from each other. The right person in the right place:
this simple principle increases productivity, and it is so
with people of all abilities.
As to enable this integration
in the workplace, there has to be a process whereby attention
is paid to various aspects: access needs, the use of technology,
staff training. The whole of this process has been described
and summarised by the Guidelines - devised by ASPHI and by
IBM Italy.

works in such a way that it's inclusive of all the population
and therefore increases the range of people that can

aids available today can benefit from substantial help
